Summary:

Organisations in today's fast-paced world face challenges in keeping up with rapid changes like an inflationary economy, the effects of AI, changing consumer needs etc. Traditional structures and processes often hinder agility and responsiveness to market shifts. What's needed is a cultural transformation that promotes freedom balanced with accountability, encourages alignment with autonomy, and empowers decentralised decision-making guided by shared goals.

In an engaging and interactive discussion, Langley Sharp MBE will draw on 23 years of experience as an officer in the British Army, including time served as Head of the Centre for Army Leadership, command of a Parachute Regiment Battalion and almost a decade in special forces. Blending this experience with his work as a leadership consultant and executive coach, he will draw on cross-sector knowledge and industry best practice to offer tangible insights and practical solutions.

During the Breakfast We'll Discuss:

  • Command (authority), leadership and management
  • Mission Command - a philosophy of freedom and responsibility
  • Effective leadership and responsibility followership
  • Trust - the fuel and the glue
  • Stability to create agility
