Drawing from his experience leading Zappi—a pioneering technology company in the Insights world—Steve will discuss the challenges and opportunities that come with stepping back from the CEO role and reshaping business strategy from a new vantage point.

About Steve Phillips:

Steve is the Founder, Chair, and Chief Innovation Officer of Zappi, a company that has been using AI since its inception to empower companies globally with actionable insights. He has recently led the way in developing AI-first capabilities to extract deeper value from research data.

Steve is also the co-author of the Amazon No.1 bestselling book, “The Consumer Insights Revolution: Transforming Market Research for Competitive Advantage”, written with Ryan Barry (President of Zappi), Stephan Gans, and Kate Schardt (PepsiCo). The book explores how companies can predict and adapt to changing consumer behavior for competitive advantage.Steve is passionate about sustainability and serves as the Chair of the MRS Sustainability Council and works with ESOMAR to embed sustainable practices into market research.

His work on consumer purchase journeys and behavioral economics has earned him multiple awards, including the ESOMAR Best Paper Award, the MRS Conference Best New Thinking Award, and the ARF Great Minds Certificate.
