For Helm members (founders) only!
Join us for an intimate lunch with Gavin Oldham OBE, entrepreneur, innovator, and founder of share plc, widely recognised as the UK’s first ethical investment company and a pioneer in aligning finance with purpose.
Gavin has spent his career at the intersection of entrepreneurship, finance, and technology. As the founder of share plc, he helped reshape how individuals engage with investing, long before fintech became mainstream. While he has exited several businesses, Gavin remains a committed entrepreneur, with a deep interest in innovation, fintech, and helping individuals achieve their ambitions.
Over lunch, Gavin will share reflections on leading innovation as a founder, the evolving role of finance and technology in entrepreneurship, and what he’s learned from building businesses that challenge convention while creating long-term value.
The discussion will be hosted by Fergus Caheny and Andrew Lewin of Evelyn Partners, who work closely with founders navigating growth, liquidity events, and life beyond exit. Drawing on Evelyn’s Total Wealth Management approach, the conversation will also explore how entrepreneurs can translate business success into lasting personal and financial security.
Topics we may explore include:
• Leading innovation as a first-mover entrepreneur
• The role of fintech in democratising finance
• Building purpose-led businesses that endure
• Life after exit and staying entrepreneurial
• Aligning wealth, values, and long-term goals
