About Harriet

Harriet left her job running consumer brands at a marketing agency after the birth of her fourth child, and saw a gap in food gifting. In 2007 she and her husband, Stevie Congdon, started Biscuiteers online, choosing iced biscuits because they can carry any design, keep well and survive the post.

Biscuiteers now has icing cafés in Notting Hill and Belgravia, its own bakery in Wimbledon, the 'Ministry of Biscuits', and stockists including Selfridges, Harrods and Le Bon Marché. In 2018 it iced more than two million biscuits and sent them to over 100 countries. A Crowdcube round in 2016 raised £1.2m from customers.
