Dominic Ponniah co-founded Cleanology, the commercial cleaning and facilities company, with his mother in 1999 and led it for more than 25 years.
About Dominic
Dominic co-founded Cleanology with his mother, Elisabeth, in 1999, after his first business, a motorised rickshaw company, lost money. He says he started the business by accident.
As CEO he grew Cleanology into a national cleaning and facilities company with more than 1,400 staff, serving blue-chip companies, royal palaces and famous brands. He has championed the Real Living Wage: 99% of Cleanology's people now receive it, up from 18% in 2017.
In December 2025 he became Cleanology's chairman.
